Marisha Mees
Senior Solicitor
Marisha is a dedicated personal injuries lawyer passionate about pursuing a worker’s right to compensation. She predominantly represents Police members injured in the course of their work.
“All workers need to have that reassurance that they will be looked after should they unfortunately sustain an injury through work, whether it is for treatment or loss of wages. I’m so proud to be able to offer that reassurance.”
Many claims Marisha works on involve psychological injuries. She is driven to protect her clients, ensuring the very legislation put in place to protect workers’ rights is not used against them through exclusionary provisions. In most instances with psychological injuries, the injured worker is so emotionally impacted that they are unable to appropriately articulate the actual cause is of their injury. Marisha notes this is why it is helpful to have an expert to guide you through the legal process, as it enables you the mental and emotional space to focus on your recovery.
